A:  Giclee Prints

About Giclee Prints

The Term : The term  "giclee print" connotes an elevation in printmaking technology. Images are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates including canvas, fine art, and photo-base paper. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction.

Q:  Why are some painting only offered in paper?

A:  Because they were originally painted on paper or possibly wood. We only produce canvas reproductions for canvas originals. If you would like to have a canvas where it is not offered simply contact us and we can work it out.

In fact, we are beginning the process of creating canvas offering for more pieces.

Q:  What sort of canvas do you use?

A: A full explanation of the canvas & paper that we use are found on the "Canvas & Paper" tab at the bottom of the page.

Q:  Yes, for paper. No, for canvas. BUT you can specify what type of boarder you would like by simply contacting us and letting us know your boarder preference. For Boarding information visit our Bordering tab at the bottom of the page.

Q:  Will there be other paintings offered other than the ones currently available?

A:  Yes! We will be changing out the selection regularly and may expand to give more choices in the future. Check our "Current and Future Offerings" tab at the bottom of the page for more information.
